The Lamar Valley - one of the best places inside Yellowstone for viewing wildlife. A few days before, photographers observed 4 adult wolves hunt down an adult bison cow. She zig zagged along the river's edge, all the way down the valley, but she was no match for the skilled pack of wolves. They then watched the wolves guard and devour their kill, but a grizzly was able to scare them off for a few hours to share some of their meal.
