Hurricane Marie Pounds the Wedge 8/27/14

These were taken just before dark. I couldn't deal with all the traffic to get there earlier in the day.

Biking was the ONLY way to get around on the peninsula. We parked on Balboa Island and got the ferry across with our bikes and then rode to the Wedge. We thought we were so smart and would avoid all the crowds, but it took 3 or 4 ferries before we could get across since there were so many other pedestrian passengers doing the same thing!
