If a 3rd party (publisher, sponsor, magazine, newspaper, employer, etc.) asks to 'use' them, they need to contact me for permission and pricing, because I am the copyright holder. I donate massive amounts of time shooting my favorite charity events and my intention is to make the photos free to the participants, but this is at great cost to me.
If a 3rd party is doing a story about you and wants to use my photos, I need to control the distribution of my work get paid something (otherwise I can't continue doing all-volunteer work). I hope you understand.
