The offshores were howling and most spots in OC were firing with an orange tint as the day went on. Unfortunately, many parts of Southern California were on fire by the end of this historic day. Where did you surf on 'Firestorm Sunday' - October 21, 2007? I was at the Huntington Beach pier for about 8 hours that day but I learned a good lesson from it - when the surf is epic, don't stay in one spot. It is much more fun to move around to see how other spots are! I have a few thousand shots from this day and the Monday after - I just wanted to remind you of one of the best days of the decade.
